Market Update | Q3 2026 Recapped

The third quarter of 2026 highlighted a tension between resilient economic activity and an increasingly restrictive financial environment. As described in our latest quarterly commentary, energy-price pressures reemerged, government bond yields climbed, and the performance of equities and fixed income diverged sharply across sectors and maturities. Investment in artificial intelligence infrastructure remained an important support for economic growth, even as many other construction categories weakened.
